Private Villa Playground & Outdoor Fitness Installation — Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Project Overview

Garden Links recently completed a full outdoor recreation upgrade for a private villa in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, transforming an underused courtyard and rooftop area into a vibrant, safe, and multi-functional family space. The project combined children’s play equipment with adult outdoor fitness stations, giving every member of the household a reason to spend more time outdoors.

Scope of Work

Our team handled the complete process end-to-end site assessment, equipment selection, ground preparation, installation, and final safety checks delivering a finished space ready for immediate use.

What We Installed

1. Spiral Slide with Animal-Themed Poles

A bold orange spiral slide anchored by two decorative poles topped with a friendly bee and giraffe design, installed in a shaded courtyard nook. The slide sits on a natural turf and stone base, blending playfully into the villa’s existing landscaping and greenery.

2. Multi-Seat Swing Sets

Two heavy-duty A-frame swing sets in a purple and green powder-coated finish, each fitted with a mix of standard flat seats and a secure toddler bucket seat. These were installed on interlocking rubber paver flooring for slip resistance and everyday durability, positioned beneath natural tree cover for shaded outdoor play.

3. Outdoor Adult Fitness Stations

To serve the whole family, we installed two pieces of outdoor gym equipment:

• An elliptical cross-trainer station for low-impact cardio, positioned near the villa entrance steps.
• A chest press / arm resistance station paired with a decorative yellow lion-shaped kids’ climber, creating a shared fitness-and-play corner where parents can exercise while children play alongside.

4. Rooftop Swing & Slide Combo Sets

On the upper terrace, we installed compact combination units pairing a slide with 2–3 swing positions, set on soft-fall rubber tile flooring for maximum safety at height. These space-efficient units were designed specifically for smaller rooftop footprints without compromising on play value.

5. Junior Swing Frame

A standalone single-bay swing frame in navy and red, installed in a sandy indoor/covered play area alongside a teal wave slide and toddler activity table ideal for younger children in a softer, contained play environment.

Design & Safety Considerations

• All play structures were positioned with clearance zones and shock-absorbing ground surfaces (rubber tiles, turf, or sand) appropriate to fall height.
• Equipment finishes and colors were selected to complement each area’s existing architecture and greenery.
• Fitness and play zones were placed together where possible, encouraging family activity time rather than separating age groups.

The Result

The completed installation gives the villa multiple dedicated recreation zones a ground-floor courtyard play area, an outdoor fitness corner, and a rooftop play terrace each tailored to the space available while maintaining a consistent, high-quality aesthetic throughout the property.
