Project Overview

Garden Links completed this indoor outdoor playground equipment installation in Makkah for a covered residential building play area with shade sails, tiled flooring, and open courtyard space.

This project is different from open garden playground equipment.

Here, the equipment was installed inside a shaded building courtyard. The area has columns, tiled floor, fabric shade panels above, and wall-side open space around the play zone.

The project includes one large multi-play structure and one separate yellow circular swing frame.

The main play structure has blue castle-style roofs, yellow decorative tops, black steel posts, white safety railings, a yellow open slide, a blue open slide, a blue and yellow tube slide with transparent middle section, black stair access, raised platforms, and themed decorative panels.

The circular swing frame was installed separately in the front area, away from the slide exits and stair access. Its yellow frame is fixed directly into the tiled floor.

What Was Installed

This project includes five visible playground equipment elements:

Equipment Quantity Key Feature
Multi-play playground equipment 1 Includes slides, platforms, stairs, railings, and themed roofs
Blue and yellow tube slide 1 Curved tube slide with transparent middle section
Open slides 2 Yellow slide and blue slide on separate sides
Circular swing frame 1 Yellow frame installed separately in front area
Shade sail coverage 1 area Fabric shade panels above the play zone

Multi-Play Playground Equipment

The main installed item is the large multi-play playground equipment placed under the shade sails.

It has two blue roof towers with yellow decorative tops. The structure is supported by black steel posts and connected with raised platforms and white guard rails.

Children can enter from the black stair section, move across the platform, and choose between different slide exits.

The layout is compact but active.

It gives climbing, walking, sliding, and movement in one connected structure without taking too much floor space inside the courtyard.

Tube Slide with Transparent Section

The blue and yellow tube slide is the strongest visual feature in this project.

It starts from the raised platform and curves down toward the front side. The middle section has a transparent cover, which gives the slide a more modern look and lets light pass through the tunnel.

This tube slide is useful for covered courtyard play areas because it gives children a different sliding experience without needing a very long straight exit path.

Yellow and Blue Open Slides

Two open slides were installed on opposite sides of the structure.

The yellow slide is placed on the left side of the unit.

The blue slide is placed on the right side.

This gives children more than one way to exit the platform and helps reduce waiting when several kids use the equipment at the same time.

Both slides are connected to the raised play platform and positioned with open floor space at the bottom.

Stair Access and Safety Railings

The play structure includes black stair access in the center area.

White safety railings are installed along the stairs and platform edges. These railings guide children while climbing and help keep the raised section more controlled.

This is important for a building courtyard project because the play area sits on a tiled surface, so proper handrails and controlled access points matter.

Yellow Circular Swing Frame

A separate yellow circular swing frame was installed in the open front area.

It is not attached to the main play structure.

That separation is important because swing frames need their own movement zone. In this project, the frame was placed away from the slide exits and stairs, giving the main play unit and swing area their own space.

The frame is fixed into the tiled floor with visible base plates.

Materials Used for Saudi Weather

The playground equipment was selected for Saudi outdoor and semi-covered conditions.

The main frame uses galvanized steel with powder coating. This helps protect the structure from rust, heat, dust, and daily wear, especially in open courtyard spaces where sunlight and air exposure still reach the equipment.

The slides, roofs, panels, and child-touch parts use LLDPE plastic. This material is better for children’s playground equipment because it is smoother, stronger for outdoor use, and handles sun exposure better than weak plastic.

For buyers, this matters.

Galvanized steel gives better frame stability.

Powder coating helps the metal last longer.

LLDPE plastic reduces cracking, fading, and rough surfaces.

That means safer daily use for children and less early replacement cost for the property owner.

Site Layout

The layout uses the courtyard space carefully.

The multi-play equipment sits toward the back and center area.

The circular swing frame stays in the front open zone.

Slide exits face open tiled space, not walls or columns.

The shade sails above help reduce direct sunlight on the play equipment and make the courtyard more comfortable for children.

This setup fits residential buildings, private compounds, nurseries, and family recreation areas where outdoor space is limited but still needs proper playground equipment.

Installation Stage Visible in Images

The photos show the project after the main installation work.

Visible site details include:

Shade sails above the equipment
Tiled courtyard flooring
Building columns around the area
Blue and yellow slide structure installed
Circular swing frame fixed separately
Open space around slide exits
Small tools and finishing items still visible

This looks like the final checking and cleaning stage before handover.

For Property Owners in Makkah

If you are planning a similar playground equipment project in a covered courtyard or residential building, this project shows the main points clearly:

Your Concern How This Project Answers It
Need equipment for a covered courtyard? The play structure was installed under shade sails inside a building courtyard.
Need slides without a large garden? The tube slide and open slides fit within the tiled courtyard space.
Need separate swing space? The circular swing frame was installed away from the slide exits.
Worried about Saudi weather? Galvanized steel, powder coating, and LLDPE plastic were used for durability.
Need a clean layout? The equipment was placed with open movement space around stairs and slides.

Project Result

This Makkah project turned a shaded courtyard into a functional children’s play area.

The multi-play structure gives children climbing and sliding activities.

The tube slide adds a stronger play feature.

The yellow and blue open slides give extra routes from the platform.

The circular swing frame adds movement play without crowding the main unit.

The final layout is neat, bright, and useful for children inside a semi-covered residential space.
