Project Description

Garden Links completed this outdoor playground equipment installation in Jeddah for a 200 sqm shaded outdoor kids play area.

This project was not a single slide or one swing setup.

It was a full outdoor playground equipment installation with several separate play items placed across the same site.

The main equipment is a large multi-play structure installed directly under the shade frame. It includes a green double slide, red and yellow tube slide, yellow spiral slide, green climbing stairs, elevated platforms, safety railings, colorful roofs, and themed play panels.

The project also included a separate outdoor swing set, a horse-style merry-go-round, and a car-shaped spring rider.

The ground was still sand during the installation stage. Concrete fixing bases were visible around some equipment points, especially around the car spring rider and swing posts. That shows the project was captured before final ground finishing, after the main equipment anchoring work had been completed.

Project Overview

The layout of this Jeddah project was planned around the existing shade structure.

The biggest play unit was placed under the shade because it carries the highest activity. Children climb the green stairs, reach the raised platform, and then move toward one of three slide exits.

The tube slide faces the front.

The spiral slide comes down from the right side.

The double slide exits from the left side.

This gives children different movement directions instead of pushing all activity into one small point.

Beside the main unit, the swing set was installed as a separate line. This was important because swings need open front and back space. If swings are too close to slide exits, children can cross into the swing path. In this project, the swing frame was kept apart from the main slide structure.

The merry-go-round and car spring rider were placed in the open sand area, giving younger children and group play their own activity spots.

Main Multi-Play Playground Equipment

The main installed item is the large multi-play outdoor playground equipment under the shade.

It has a bright color layout with green, yellow, red, orange, and white parts. The structure includes raised platforms, entry stairs, handrails, safety panels, and multiple slide types.

This unit works as the center of the project.

Children do not only climb and slide once.

They can move through the platform, choose a different slide, come back through the stairs, and repeat the route.

Green Double Slide

The green double slide is installed on one side of the main structure.

It allows two children to slide at the same time. This is useful for a shared outdoor kids play area because it reduces waiting and keeps the play flow active.

The double slide exits onto the sand area with open space in front.

Red and Yellow Tube Slide

The red and yellow tube slide is placed at the front of the main structure.

It is one of the clearest visible parts of the project. The closed tunnel design gives children a different sliding experience compared to open slides.

The tube slide connects directly to the elevated platform, so children reach it after climbing the stairs and moving through the upper play section.

Yellow Spiral Slide

The yellow spiral slide is installed on the right side of the play structure.

It curves down from the platform and saves straight floor space. This fits the project layout well because the site already includes multiple installed items inside the 200 sqm area.

The spiral slide also adds height and movement variety to the full setup.

Outdoor Swing Set Installation

A long outdoor swing set was installed separately from the main play structure.

The swing frame has green side supports and a yellow top beam. Multiple swing seats are fixed with chains across the beam.

The installed swing seats include standard swing seats and toddler bucket seats.

That makes the swing area suitable for more than one age group.

Older children can use the standard seats.

Younger children can use the toddler bucket seats.

The swing posts were fixed into the ground, with base work visible around the installation points. This fixing is important because swing frames take repeated movement pressure every day.

Horse Merry-Go-Round Installation

A horse-style merry-go-round was installed in the open part of the site.

It includes colorful horse seats placed around a circular rotating base. This adds group play to the project, which is different from individual sliding or swinging.

The merry-go-round was not placed directly beside the swing path or slide exits.

That spacing keeps the activity areas cleaner.

Children can rotate on the merry-go-round without blocking the main climbing and sliding route.

Car Spring Rider Installation

A car-shaped spring rider was installed for younger children.

It has a green and red car body, black wheel-style details, white hand grips, and a strong spring base.

The concrete fixing around the spring rider is clearly visible in the project image. This shows the unit was anchored properly into the ground before final surface finishing.

This small equipment adds an easy activity for younger children who may not use the taller slides or bigger swing seats.

Shade Structure and Site Condition

The main multi-play unit was installed under a large outdoor shade structure.

The steel shade frame is visible above the equipment. This matters because the project is in Jeddah, where outdoor play equipment faces direct sun, humidity, dust, and heat.

The ground condition in the images is still sand.

That tells us the project was photographed during the installation or pre-finishing stage. The equipment was already positioned and fixed, but the final ground surface had not been completed yet.

Installation Process

Site Checking and Layout Planning

The Garden Links team checked the shaded area and available sand ground before placing the equipment.

The layout had to include the main multi-play unit, swing set, horse merry-go-round, and car spring rider inside the same 200 sqm outdoor area.

Main Play Structure Installation

The large multi-play structure was installed first because it was the main equipment on site.

The team fixed the support posts, stairs, elevated platforms, safety railings, themed panels, tube slide, spiral slide, and double slide.

Swing Set Fixing

The outdoor swing set was installed beside the main play unit, but not attached to it.

This gave the swing seats enough open movement space and kept them away from the slide exits.

Merry-Go-Round Placement

The horse merry-go-round was placed in the open area, away from the swing path and main slide exits.

The circular base was positioned so children could rotate without crowding the main play structure.

Spring Rider Base Work

The car spring rider was fixed with concrete around the base.

This step is important because spring riders move again and again during use. Weak base work can make the unit loose over time.

Final Position and Spacing Check

The team checked the slide exits, swing movement path, merry-go-round clearance, spring rider fixing, stairs, railings, and overall movement flow before handover.

Project Results

The finished installation created a complete outdoor kids activity area in Jeddah.

The site now includes climbing, sliding, swinging, rotating, and rocking activities in one shaded outdoor space.

The main play structure gives height and slide activity.

The swing set gives movement play for different age groups.

The merry-go-round adds group activity.

The car spring rider gives younger children a smaller and easier play option.
